With the drip tray, you can reduce the risk of oil running down the side of your BBQ fire pit grill. Oil is not harmful to the grill, but it does darken the sides of the grill and there is a risk that the oil will damage surfaces.
The drip tray is placed between the fire tray and grill plate. It's simple and straightforward.
