Cancellation right

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right when you shop with us.

The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you received your item. If you have ordered several different items in one order, but they are delivered individually, the deadline runs from the day you receive the last item.

If the order consists of several lots or parts, the cancellation deadline runs 14 days after the day you receive the last lot or part.

The deadline means that you have 14 days from receipt to notify us that you will cancel your purchase. You can send an email to info@byjema.com or use the standard cancellation form, which you can find at the bottom of the Terms and Conditions.

You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to accept the item without notifying us at the same time.

Cancellation of part of the purchase

If you have purchased several items from us, you have the option of returning one or more items even if they were purchased in one order.

Please note that if you cancel part of your purchase, you will not be refunded the shipping costs.

Making a return

Once you have informed us that you will be canceling your purchase, you have 14 days to return the item to us.

You will have to pay for the package yourself and you are responsible if any damage occurs during transportation.

Some items cannot be returned by normal mail. This applies, for example, to very large items.

The cost of returning these goods is expected to cost at most: DKK 1.250.

Cases where the right of withdrawal does not apply

These contracts cannot be canceled:

Delivery of items made to your specifications or have been given a distinct personal touch.

The condition of the item when you send it back

If the item has lost value and this is because you have used it in a way other than what was needed to determine its nature, characteristics and how it works, you can only recover part of the purchase amount. The amount you can get back depends on the commercial value of the product, and in some cases it may mean that you can only get back the shipping costs.

We recommend that you return the item in its original packaging.

If the original packaging is missing, it may result in the loss of deterioration of the item.


Refund of the purchase amount

If you regret your purchase, you will get your money back. If the item is impaired, we will deduct the amount you are liable to pay.

We will refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional delivery costs if you have chosen a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery method we offer), within 14 days from the day we receive your cancellation notice.

We will refund the money using the same means of payment you used to make the purchase, unless we have agreed otherwise.

We may withhold payment until we have received the goods, unless you send us proof that you have returned them.

Cancellation right in commercial purchases

Goods are returned only, If this is returned within 30 days of the customer's receipt and only by prior arrangement and information on the Order number. Returned goods must be returned free of charge to the seller's address.

Specially made and not price list listed items are not returned.

Only unused and undamaged items will be taken back. Returned goods will be credited only against deduction of the seller's costs - at least 10% of the purchase price.


Contacting the right person

When you shop with us as a consumer, the rules of the Sale of Goods Act apply.

This means that you have a right of complaint for 24 months.

If your complaint is justified, this means you can either get the item repaired, exchanged, your money back or a discount in price, depending on the specific situation.

You must advertise within a “reasonable time” after you discover the fault. If you advertise within 2 months of discovering the fault, the complaint will always be timely.

If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be returned in the correct packaging. Also remember to get a receipt for shipment so that we can refund your shipping costs.

If defects are found regarding It was sold within 12 months of delivery (in normal use), the seller is obliged and entitled to remedy as soon as possible. The provision is conditional on compliance with JEMA's warranty provisions and services. Remedy takes place in accordance with the provisions of NLM 94.
