Fire pit grills in steel – thoughtful outdoor cooking around the fire
Outdoor cooking over an open fire is about more than technique and temperature. It is about gathering, slowing down and working with the fire as the natural centre point. Our range of steel fire pit grills is created for those who want functional outdoor cooking combined with thoughtful design and materials suited for long-term outdoor use.
All fire pit grills are designed, developed and produced in Denmark with a focus on stability, ease of use and long service life. The range includes corten steel, galvanised steel and black-lacquered steel – each with its own expression, advantages and care requirements.

Three materials – three expressions
Our fire pit grills are available in three different materials, each with its own visual expression and functional properties. What they all share is a solid construction and materials suitable for outdoor use.
Corten steel
Corten steel develops a distinctive rust-coloured patina over time, which acts as a natural protective layer against corrosion. The material is suitable for year-round outdoor use and requires no surface treatment. Over time, the expression becomes calmer and more nuanced, blending naturally into outdoor surroundings.
Galvanised steel
Galvanised steel has a silver-toned, technical surface and is highly resistant to corrosion and weather exposure. It is an excellent choice if you are looking for a neutral, low-maintenance material suitable for both private gardens and professional environments.
Black-lacquered steel
Black-lacquered steel creates a strong and modern expression with a deep, matt finish. The surface is wet-lacquered and designed for outdoor use. The black-lacquered steel requires no ongoing treatment, but should be handled with normal care to preserve its visual appearance.
Thoughtful construction for functional use
All fire pit grills are constructed with a focus on stability, safety and functionality. The solid build ensures that the grill remains stable during use, even at high temperatures and under heavy load.
The grill grate is designed to be easily removable – even when using grill gloves – and the construction ensures good airflow, providing stable combustion when using both wood and charcoal.
Private use and professional environments
Fire pit grills perform equally well in private gardens and in professional settings. In private outdoor spaces, the grill becomes a natural gathering point where cooking and socialising come together.
In professional environments such as restaurants, hotels, campsites and shared outdoor areas, galvanised steel or corten steel is often chosen for its high durability and minimal maintenance. Black-lacquered steel is typically used in more architectural and controlled settings where visual expression is a key focus.
Year-round use and correct placement
Steel fire pit grills are designed for year-round outdoor use. Corten steel and galvanised steel models can remain outdoors permanently without special care, while black-lacquered models require regular attention to maintain their appearance.
The grill should be placed on a stable, fire-resistant surface with sufficient distance from combustible materials. Always ensure free air circulation and comply with local fire regulations.
Outdoor cooking is equally rewarding during the colder months, where the contrast between cold air and warmth from the fire creates a special atmosphere around the flames.
Grill plate and grill grate – natural maintenance through use
Regardless of the material the fire pit grill is made from, the grill plate and grill grate require basic and straightforward maintenance. To protect the surfaces and ensure optimal cooking performance, we recommend regularly oiling both the grill plate and grate.
Oiling:
- protects against surface rust
- improves cooking performance
- makes cleaning easier
- is a natural part of using a fire pit grill
With correct use and regular oiling, a protective surface layer develops over time, making the grill more resistant and more enjoyable to work with.
