Black-lacquered steel – a deliberate aesthetic choice

The black-lacquered surface is the result of a carefully controlled wet-lacquering process carried out in our own paint facility. This method ensures a deep, uniform black colour with a matte finish that absorbs light and creates a calm, sophisticated expression.

Black acts as a neutral and timeless base that highlights the shapes and colours of plants. Green foliage stands out clearly, while lighter materials such as wood, concrete and stone create striking contrasts against the dark surface.

Care and maintenance

The black-lacquered surface is more delicate than materials such as corten steel and untreated galvanised steel. To preserve the exclusive appearance, we recommend handling the planters with care.

Avoid impacts, scratches and heavy mechanical stress, especially when moving the planters. With proper care, the matte black finish will maintain its elegant appearance for many years.

Ideal for refined and architectural planting

The black finish makes the planters particularly suitable for architectural and carefully curated planting. They create a calm frame for bamboo, ornamental grasses, shaped shrubs and smaller trees.
