Practical info
Water and drainage connection
Water supply is led from below through the bottom plate and kept hidden inside the construction.
Always use drinking-water-approved hose and fittings – and make sure the water supply can be disconnected in winter to avoid frost damage.
The drain can be connected to a regular drain or led directly into the ground.
If draining into the ground, always use biodegradable dish soap.

❄️ Remember to empty the system before frost periods
Corten steel requires no maintenance.
The surface is delivered with a thin oil film that protects during transport – wash gently with warm soapy water after installation to remove this.
🌦️ The surface will naturally patinate from light orange to deep rust tones over a few weeks and form a protective layer that prevents through-corrosion.
💡 If you want to speed up the patination process, you can lightly spray the surface with saltwater.

Are tap and hoses included?
No – tap and water connection are not included. You can use standard water fittings and connect them from below through the bottom plate.
Can the sink module stay outside all year?
Yes – corten steel is designed for permanent outdoor use and requires no maintenance.
Does corten steel patinate evenly?
Colour development can vary depending on sun, moisture and surroundings – small differences are a natural part of the material’s charm.
