Finish: Silver-grey galvanized finish that protects the steel against corrosion. The surface may have natural variations in colour and texture and will gradually develop a more matte appearance over time.

Design: Open, five-pointed star made from flat steel strips. Easy to assemble using bolts.

Placement: Must be placed against a wall or another stable surface and secured to prevent it from tipping over or slipping. The star is not freestanding.

Hanging: Can be hung using fixings suitable for the surface and the weight of the star.

String lights: Not included – sold separately.

Galvanized steel:
Galvanized steel is protected by a layer of zinc, which provides good resistance to corrosion. This makes it suitable for outdoor decorations that can be used season after season.

The galvanized surface initially has a silver-grey appearance, which gradually becomes more matte when exposed to the elements. Minor variations in the surface are a natural characteristic of galvanization.

Unlike corten steel, galvanized steel does not develop a rust-coloured patina. The surface retains its grey appearance, although the shade may change slightly over time.

Surface and placement:
Galvanized steel requires very little maintenance. Prolonged exposure to moisture can cause white deposits to form on the zinc surface, particularly if water cannot dry away.

Make sure the star is positioned so that water can drain away and the surface can dry.

✔ Avoid placing the star where water can collect around the steel

The star's open design allows the background to remain visible, making it easy to incorporate into different outdoor spaces. Against a dark facade, the silver-grey steel stands out, while light brickwork, timber cladding and rendered walls create a more understated look.

Yes, the star can be hung up. Use fixings suitable for the mounting surface and capable of supporting the star's weight. Wind exposure should also be taken into account when hanging the star outdoors.

Are string lights included?
No. String lights are not included and must be purchased separately. This allows you to choose the type and light colour that best suit your Christmas display.

Can the star be used outdoors?
Yes. The star is made from galvanized steel with a protective zinc coating that helps prevent corrosion. It is therefore suitable for outdoor use.
