The tree rings require no maintenance – the corten steel takes care of itself.
🧽 Rinse lightly with mild soapy water after installation to remove transport oil.
🌦️ The surface will patinate naturally over a few weeks and develop the warm, rust-colored tone.
💡 To accelerate patination, you can lightly spray the surface with saltwater.
🛡️ The patina protects the steel from rusting through – no further treatment is needed.

Yes – we produce both open and closed rings, depending on your needs and application.
🔓 Open rings: Perfect for existing trees, flagpoles, or posts. Supplied in one piece and bolted together around the object. Steel bolts and nuts are included and will patinate naturally along with the ring.
⭕ Closed rings: Supplied welded and ready for installation – ideal for newly planted trees where no separation is needed.
Do they patinate evenly?
Patination will naturally vary with moisture and surroundings – small differences in tone are part of the material’s charm.
