Corten steel:
Corten steel naturally develops a rust-coloured patina when exposed to moisture and air. On delivery, the steel may be dark and may not yet have developed its characteristic rust colour.
The surface gradually changes to warm shades of brown, orange and rust red. Colour and texture vary depending on the location and weather conditions, giving each Christmas tree its own appearance.
Under the right conditions, the patina forms a protective layer that limits further corrosion. The surface therefore requires neither painting nor sanding.

✔ Gently remove dirt with a soft brush or cloth
✔ Avoid prolonged damp conditions and standing water around the steel
✔ Protect delicate surfaces from rust staining and rusty runoff
