Over time, the steel develops a warm, golden rust tone that becomes more beautiful with age.
🧽 Clean lightly with warm soapy water after installation to remove any oil residue.
🌦 The surface transitions from dark steel to a warm rust tone over a few weeks.
💡 Use a bottom plate to avoid rust marks on tiles.

Will corten steel stain tiles?
During the initial patination phase, light runoff may occur.
This is avoided by using a bottom plate or placing the planter on gravel or soil.
Can I grow edible plants in corten steel?
Yes — corten steel does not release harmful substances. For vegetables, you may line the sides with plastic foil or insulation mats if preferred.
Does corten steel require maintenance?
No — the material takes care of itself. Nature handles the transformation.
